Ahh...........summertime!

Ahh it feels so good to be at home able to sleep in until 11 and just be lazy all day long, no more band at 7 in the morning no more practicing my solo and ensemble................THIS IS GREAT!!!!!! lol, well we got back from Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest Tuesday night or more like Wednesday morning at 12 am and I come home and you will never guess what was sitting on my bed calling my name................................

I am so excited it totally kicks *ss and I have been playing on it ever since I got it and its awesome because it has all my pics from state and everything on it. but anyways thats all I wanted to say so

Mondays.......and scholarships

I absolutely hate mondays! And the fact that I am finally a senior, but I keep getting hastled about my college plans and where I am going to go. Ahhhhhhh!!!!!! They are driving me crazy! If I knew where I was going or what I was majoring in I would have probably told you that already! Plus scholarships are a bit of a hastle, you have to fill out 15 million papers that are asking the same questions over and over again. Anyway there is my rant for today.

Life is just dandy. I can't wait until school is over, only 21 more days of school for me! So our spring concert for band is Thursday, and playing the tin whistle, yea I am going to suck, and suck badly. See I don't think the tin whistle sounds all that great, but Mr. R. thinks it does, so apparently I am wrong. Anyways, I can't post long cuz I have to get back to my scholarships so

Spring Break's over........how sad!

Yea! For finally posting! I was told today that I haven't posted since like January so here it is.......not much to look at. Ok so let's see my past few months have been nothing but band, band, one act play, band, school, band, fights with friends, band, oh yea and band! This past saturday was UIL solo and ensemble contest and we are taking about 20 people so far to State, heck yes! I think we have 8 soloists, Tara, Julia, Adam, Chris, Kelsey, Leah, I think Joey?, and Me! Yea for us! Hoo rah! And now to the ensembles, there are five ensembles going, The mixed woodwind, our flute trio, trumpet trio, euphonium trio, and trombone quartet. And there are two choir peeps outside of band also going to state with us, so hoo rah to you too! Now jazz band also received a one at this contest but jazz ensembles aren't able to go to state because it is too much money to send such a large group to state, so sad day but hey we got a one! Anyways today is Monday, blah, I hate mondays, and tomorrow is Tuesday, but we get to miss school because of One Act Play competition, heck yes for that! lol, well actually tomorrow is the big kahuna for us, this determines whether we have more practices or not, so good luck to everyone in OAP tomorrow! So my car really is Bessie 2 because today at school it died and wouldn't start like at all. It's not the battery. My fuel pump is messed up and likes to play games on my car, so today it finally went kaput! So I was stuck at school until our surprise oap run through before contest tomorrow. New York City

So here's my post about our trip to New York. It was amazing! I had so much fun and really want to go back there. Ok so we didn't go see the Statue or the Empire State Building but we did go to Ground Zero. We took a dance class at Broadway Dance Center which we thought was going to be pretty hard, but actually it was a blast, we also learned a bit of funk, lol. And then we took a NYC highlight tour after and that was when we went and saw ground zero, which didn't really look like it but it was still solemn. After that we went to the majestic to see Phantom of the Opera which was really awesome so those of us who are going to see it in April, you are going to love it! Then on Saturday we went to Radio City Music Hall for the Rockette Experience, again which we thought was going to be super super hard, it was a little because most of us took tap when we were really little and none of us have taken jazz, but as us "celina" or "texas" I should say catch on really quick. The jazz was really cute and the tap was cool, but the kicks were sweet because we learned the famous rockette pinwheel, which wow it was cool looking. Then after that we did a mock audition and I did pretty well, along with the rest of our group we did pretty well. Then after the experience we toured Radio City and that was really cool because we got to dance on the stage. After we went shopping for a little bit, and we went to a store called strawberry and omg, it is such an awesome store, I got the cutest earring/necklace set from there and they are so awesome. Then we headed back to the hotel to get ready for Beauty and the Beast. I liked it a lot, but it was a little too long, just ask Kourtney, lol. After Beauty we went to a diner by our hotel at like midnight and ate dinner there well actually most of us ordered breakfast. And then on Sunday we went to Central Park to visit Balto for Jenny before we had to leave to come back home, sad day. Anyways so this is my trip to New York which was total kick ***!

Now today I am at home sick to my stomach. I was sent home this morning because I wasn't feeling good at all, which really sucks because I can't get sick. Why? Because I can't miss anymore freakin' days of school if I want to be exempt from my final exams. Which evidently now I am most likely going to have to take, not good. Well I hope that everyone is having fun at school, this really sucks though, because I was supposed to take 3 tests today, Physics, Accouting, and PreCal, and now I have to make every one up and that's gonna suck due to the Precal one is a test everyone has already taken. And I really hate having to make up tests. Well gonnna go now so

Eureka!

So I have finally come to the realization of why I am not liked( not saying that I am hated) by my fellow seniors of Celina. For starters I mainly hang around my "junior firends" and never around any seniors, and since I always hang around them that is why I am considered so young, hence the freshman, so in essence this really sucks for when we go on field trips I always feel awkard because I don't normally hang around my fellow seniors. Well anyways that's my brain blast of the day, this week has been a pretty decent week for me, can't complain too much. No school Monday, not having to be a school until 10 am on Tuesday, going to the Dallas Aquarium on Wednesday, not having to be a school again until 10 am on Thursday, and then going to see Narnia on Friday...........as you know NO SCHOOL (except maybe for 4th, 5th, and 6th) but it's all cool anyways. So yea it's about time I actually updated my blog and some others should follow along, lol. Well I hope this is enough for now oh yea and BPA competition is on Saturday and I am competing in Keyboarding Production which I hope that I do well at. And Undreworld: Evolution comes out in less than 3 hours WOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stuck in Poop County

I hope that everyone's Christmas Holiday is going very well. Mine is pretty good except that I am stuck in HICKVILLE....ok so yea I am in Amarillo, TX were not one person knows how to use proper grammar. Today we went and visited my dads sister and her new husband had his friends and relatives over and yea can I tell chain smokers who just disgusting. But other than that we are doing pretty fine now, we are at my mom's sisters house enjoying the movie, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, while sitting here playing with my baby niece....Kaylee. Well hopefully we can come home tomorrow cause according to my dad so far we are. So the movies I have watched so far on this trip are......Herbie:Fully Loaded, Fantastic 4, The Brother's Grimm, Elektra, Pacifier (yet again), Daredevil, and many others. So I guess I am going to go so

It's that time again

Don't you just love the joys of Christmas break. Eating whenever you want, sleeping in until whatever time, and getting, of course, PRESENTS!!!!!!!

Alright so my weekend hasn't been anything really all that great except that we won STATE!! Celina Bobcats are the STATE CHAMPIONS!!! OK so I have never seen so much orange in one dinky little restaurant. After the game the band along with the drill team, football team, the cheerleaders, and fans of course, all packed inside this itty bitty golden corral in Mesquite. The food wasn't all that great, I think I might have had an upset stomach thanks to the steak which later I found out still had blood spots still in it. We packed up to head home which seemed longer than ever, and didn't get home until 1 am on Sunday!

Well, then I was awakened by my mother telling me I was back in our Christmas play because they didn't want me to feel like I wasn't a part of it, and OMG it turned out so freakin' awesome! I loved it so much and was so so happy I was able to do it.

And today I get to sit at home and relax, not have to go early to school for band, then go to school, and then stay late for drill team, pretty nice! But I have to go to work tonight but hey as long as I am making the money I am quite satisfied.

Well I hope that everyone is having a very happy holiday and a safe one too. Well I better be off cleaning thy house so
